WOMEN SPEND £84,000 ON CLOTHES
Women
spend nearly £84,000 on clothes in a lifetime - with £14,000 of that going on
shoes, according to new research.
The
average woman will buy 3,109 items of clothing including 185 dresses costing
£7,699 and 145 bags totalling £5,420.
The
research by Sure Women Linen Dry found that the average figure of £83,498 -
including £6,000 on jeans - rises to £129,903 for women under-25.
Despite the figures involved, 60 per cent of women admitted they still struggle to find something to wear.
